Assign Approver

Every user must have a time off approver. A user cannot request time off unless he/she has an approver. OfficeClip allows you to automate the approval process for time-off requests by configuring a workflow routing system. This system directs requests to a designated approval chain, which can include one, two, or three approvers.

To set up a workflow routing for approving time-off:

  • Click HRM > Time-Off > Admin > Assign Approver.
  • Checkmark the user for whom you want to set the time-off routing.

  • Click on the Setup button.
  • Select the type of routing.

  • There is an option to disable routing or select routing upto three users.
  • After choosing the routing type, select the approvers from the dropdown menu.
  • Users also have an option to receive notifications if time-offs are approved, rejected or submitted. Checkmark the options as per your preference.
  • Click on the Save button to save the changes.
